NorCal Solar Care (the "Site") is a referral and scheduling service connecting homeowners with vetted solar-panel cleaning specialists in Northern California. This policy describes the information we collect from you, how it's used, who we share it with, and your rights under California law.
Information we collect
From you: name, phone, email (if shared), address or zip, panel count, system size (if known), and any details about your panels or production loss.
Automatically: IP, browser/device, pages visited, time on page, referring URL, approximate city-level location.
Calls: our phone numbers route through a third-party call-tracking provider. Calls may be recorded; you will hear a recording notification at the start.
Cookies: for analytics, session continuity, and (where enabled) advertising attribution.
How we use it
- Match you with one or more vetted cleaning specialists serving your area.
- Schedule services and send reminders for seasonal-plan customers.
- Respond to inquiries and improve the Site.
- Meet legal obligations.
Who receives your information
Network specialists. When you book a clean or seasonal plan, your contact and address details are shared with the matched specialist who will perform the service. Each maintains their own privacy practices.
Service providers — hosting, analytics, call tracking, email, CRM, scheduling — process information only as needed to deliver service to us.
Legal disclosure and business transfers as required by law or when our business changes hands.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected and with whom it has been shared.
- Delete personal information we have collected, with limited exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of "sale" or "sharing." We don't sell — but California's definition of sharing includes sharing your details with cleaning specialists. Opt out by emailing the address below.
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of the above.
Email privacy@norcalsolarcare.com to exercise rights. We respond within 45 days.
Children
Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Retention, security, changes
Lead records retained for approximately 24 months. Seasonal-plan subscribers retained for the duration of the plan plus 24 months. Commercially reasonable safeguards used; no system is fully secure. Material changes posted 30 days before taking effect.
