These Terms of Use govern your use of norcalsolarcare.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

What the Site is

NorCal Solar Care is a referral and scheduling service for solar-panel cleaning specialists in Northern California. When you book a service or sign up for the seasonal plan, we connect you with a vetted local specialist who performs the cleaning.

We do not clean solar panels ourselves. All cleaning, inspection, bird-proofing, and on-roof work is performed by the matched specialist, who is responsible for their own license (where required), insurance, equipment, safety, and warranty.

No professional advice

The Site's content — the calendar, the production-loss estimator, the knowledge articles — is general information. Specific recommendations for your system come from the matched specialist after they inspect it.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information when booking. Communicate respectfully with specialists. Don't use the Site to submit false information, scrape data, or attempt to compromise security.

Specialist relationships

The service contract is between you and the matched specialist. We are not a party to that contract and cannot enforce its terms. We vet specialists on license, insurance, references, and warranty-aware practice — this is a screening process, not a warranty.

Compensation disclosure

Network specialists compensate us for verified customer introductions, per FTC §255. This does not change the price you pay and does not influence editorial content.

Seasonal plan terms

The quarterly seasonal plan bills every three months until cancelled. You may cancel any time before the next charge date and the cancellation will take effect for the next billing cycle. Service is scheduled by the matched specialist based on the calendar published on the Site; specific dates may shift due to weather, smoke, or specialist availability.

Warranty-safe methods

Network specialists use soft-brush and softened-water methods. Pressure washing voids most panel warranties and is never used by network specialists. If a specialist offers to pressure wash your panels, contact us immediately.

Intellectual property

Site content (text, images, calendar, code, design) is owned by NorCal Solar Care or licensed to us. No copying or redistribution without written permission. Personal, non-commercial reading is permitted.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" without express or implied warranty. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, security, or specific outcomes from any specialist match.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, NorCal Solar Care and its members, officers, agents, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, from your use of the Site or from any specialist's work. Total aggregate liability is limited to $100 USD.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify NorCal Solar Care and its affiliates from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, dealings with matched specialists, or violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by California law. Disputes resolved exclusively in state or federal courts in Yolo or Sacramento County.

Changes

Terms may be revised. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use after revision is acceptance.
